except that I do know that in general not just the industrial economy but the farming economy also in kerala is totally messed up..
inspite of being blessed with lots of rains compared to the neighbouring Tamil Nadu, most of vegetable and other food material come from TN... Kerala is fast becoming just a a jungle of houses
The Amartya Sens model state is a but a sad example of how bad resource management could be.... reasonably good amount of water, oher resources, and supposedly a well educated class of people.. and yet, a total mess when it comes to work out come and infrastructure !
